Rafael Molina is a French Dancer, Choreographer, and Graham technique teacher based in Paris. He is a world-renowned Graham technique Educator and a respected figure of the Graham technique in France and Europe. Rafael is the founder of Graham For Europe, a network and platform dedicated to the Martha Graham technique that supports professionals and passionate dancers worldwide.
Graduate of Sciences Po Paris, he received a Fulbright scholarship to study at the prestigious Martha Graham School in New York City, where he graduated two years later. In 2013, he joined Graham 2 as a dancer and performed the most emblematic ballet of the Graham repertory.
Rafael is also an assistant choreographer and collaborates with Fabio Crestale, French choreographer and company Director of the "Compagnie Funamboli" in Paris. Since 2019 he is funded by the Centre National de la Danse for the research project "Graham educational practices: collect, analysis, and transmission", therefore Rafael traveled around the globe and interviewed more than 30 Graham technique instructors and Masters during 37 hours and gathered 356 pages of transcribed interviews about diverse fundamentals principles and concepts of teaching the Graham technique.
When he is not exploring the Graham world for his research, he regularly teaches at Studio Harmonic, in Conservatoires, and at Rick Odums International Center of dance in Paris.
