Learn more about our application process and requirements
Welcome! Our Dance Certificate programmes are proudly inclusive, celebrating dancers from all backgrounds, styles, and stages of their creative journeys.
Because our process is deeply open and artistic, we want to see who you are as a mover. Your application is an opportunity to showcase your current technique, your unique artistry, and your creative potential.
📹 Video Application Guidelines
Please prepare and submit a short video audition that highlights your strengths and showcases your most natural, comfortable way of moving.
Core Requirements
Length: Maximum of 2 minutes and 20 seconds (2:20).
Music: You may perform to your preferred musical choice or in silence.
Setting: Feel free to film in any location that inspires you—a dance studio, a stage, or out in nature. We want to see your creativity shine!
Visibility: Ensure the camera angle allows the admissions team to see your entire body clearly throughout the performance.
Artistic & Technical Focus
We are eager to discover any dance style with an academic structure. Your video should naturally incorporate fundamental movement elements, including:
Footwork and turns
Floor work and jumps
Use of space, levels, and directions
✨ Integrating Graham & Horton Techniques
While we welcome all dance styles, we want to see how you seamlessly weave your understanding of Martha Graham or Lester Horton principles into your movement.
Freedom of Expression
You have complete creative freedom in how you present these techniques. Your video can feature:
A complete, traditional Horton or Graham choreography.
An original contemporary piece built upon Graham/Horton principles.
Selected technical exercises or studies (such as Fortifications or Preludes).
An innovative fusion of both methods blended with your personal style.
