Take Charlotte's lesson with the Replay
We are thrilled to introduce Charlotte Landreau, a former principal dancer at the Martha Graham Dance Company.
Originally from France, she was a pre-Olympic rhythmic gymnast, finishing 3rd in France before transitioning to a career in dance. Charlotte attended the prestigious Béjart School. She later moved to New York and enrolled in the Martha Graham School. She was honoured with the Excellence in Performance Award in a few months while dancing for Graham 2. Charlotte then joined the Martha Graham Company in 2013.
She dances Martha Graham's iconic roles in productions such as Appalachian Spring (1944), Errand into the Maze (1947), and Night Journey (1947), among others. Ms. Landreau has also performed in works by world-renowned choreographers like Nacho Duato, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Pam Tanowitz, and Bobbi Jene Smith.
Charlotte has become a master teacher in the Graham technique and has been invited to share her expertise internationally.
She teaches modern dance at the Dancer's Workshop in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and is a valued member of Contemporary Dance Wyoming as a dancer and guest artist.
