Our modules are structurally flexible to cater to a wide range of students, backgrounds, and personal schedules. Because this is a customizable training model, students are free to train at their own pace within the same academic year, provided the entire programme is completed by the end of the academic term.
To best support our diverse student body, we offer two distinct pathways through the curriculum based on experience and performance:
Target Student: Dancers managing busy schedules, transitioning careers, or those who want to deeply absorb the material over a full academic year.
Structure: Students move systematically through Modules 1, 2, and 3 sequentially.
Flexibility: You control your weekly training volume, as long as all modules and final assessments are completed before the end-of-year deadline.
Target Student: Advanced dancers, experienced professionals, or teachers returning to refine their technique.
Structure: An advanced student who demonstrates immediate mastery can compress the timeline of the initial modules.
Progression: Upon achieving successful continuous assessment results and passing the corresponding module benchmarks early, the student will be permitted to immediately jump to the next module without waiting for the next calendar term.
šEach year, set a new goal and increase your certification level
The inaugural period focuses on establishing structural integrity, physical literacy, and a deep technical understanding.
Core Objective: Anchor fundamental alignment, core strength, and the physical architecture necessary for sustainable longevity in modern dance.
Technical Benchmarks:
Graham Foundations: Mastery of the breath cycle (contraction and release), foundational floor work (bounces, breathings, spirals), and basic weight shifts.
Horton Foundations: Precise execution of flat backs (forward, diagonal, lateral), primitive squats, and the introduction of basic fortifications.
Pedagogical & Theoretical Milestones:
Fluency in technical terminology and physical geometry.
Rhythmic accuracy and a strict comprehension of musical counts.
Milestone Assessment: Technical Alignment Mock Exam ā A video submission demonstrating basic exercises with a focus on pelvic placement, spinal articulation, and structural safety.
The second tier shifts the focus from theoretical mechanics to dynamic, fluid application.
Core Objective: Systematically integrate foundational principles while introducing intermediate technical complexities, building execution confidence, and expanding physical vocabulary.
Technical Benchmarks:
Graham Progressions: Mastery of intermediate floor series, turns around the back, contractions in deep tilts, and introductory centre combinations.
Horton Progressions: Integration of inter/advanced fortifications, laterals, dimensional lunges, and introductory leap patterns.
Pedagogical & Theoretical Milestones:
Transition from static execution to dynamic phrasing.
Development of artistic autonomy and independent physical expression.
Introduction to basic learning methodology and corrections.
Milestone Assessment: The Progressions Practicum ā Live Zoom or video assessment evaluating the dancer's ability to transition smoothly between distinct modern techniques while maintaining stylistic integrity.
The culminating milestone serves as an advanced incubator for elite technical refinement, choreography, and teaching pedagogy.
Core Objective: Challenge dancers with highly complex studies, sophisticated movement combinations, and rigorous professional standards while fully realising their unique artistic potential.
Technical Benchmarks:
Graham Elite: Advanced knee steps, complex floor-to-standing transitions, dramatic fall-and-recovery sequences, and master repertory phrases.
Horton Elite: Complete fluency in all 17 fortifications, complex balance series, and high-velocity across-the-floor combinations.
Pedagogical & Theoretical Milestones:
Choreographic Practice: Composition and creative laboratory work focused on merging classical modern lineages with contemporary voices.
Teaching in Practice: Curriculum design and mock class instruction, proving the capability to articulate, correct, and demonstrate the technique safely.
Milestone Assessment: The Final Certification Exam & Portfolio ā Submission of a comprehensive creative plan (curriculum design), a recorded choreographic thesis, and a live-streamed or recorded final technical examination.
