Thibaut Witzleb is a French dancer, choreographer, Horton Technique teacher, and model based in New York City.
Born in France, He received vocational dance training at The Institut de Formation Rick Odums in Paris. He then professionally trained in New York City on a scholarship at the world-renowned Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance and The Ailey School. He has learned from illustrious teachers such as A.Forsythe, M.Myers, C.Dakin, or J.Buglisi. Over the past four years, Thibaut has traveled the US and was an apprentice or company member in many companies such as Parsons Dance, Contemporary West Dance Theater, Buglisi Dance Theater, Nai Ni Chen Dance Company, and as a guest at The Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater.
He became Nobert de la Cruz's first assistant and rehearsal director, inspiring his current and upcoming works in the US. He also worked in major institutions such as Columbia University, The Ailey School, Point Park University, LaGuardia High School, and many more. Thibaut had the opportunity to perform with The Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in Alvin Ailey's most emblematic work, Revelations (1960), in the New York City Center and on National Television for more than 20.7 million viewers during the 2019 Macy's Thanksgiving Parade.
He was cast for three consecutive years in Jacqulyn Buglisi's 9/11 Table of Silence, live-streamed in 129 countries worldwide. Thibaut also performed on the French television, at the DUMBO Festival with Mosley's Hearts of Men Diversity of Dance, the International Ballet Festival of Union City, and Ballet Beyond Borders International Los Angeles. Additionally, Thibaut worked with the Alvin Ailey Dance Foundation, Paul Taylor Dance Foundation, and the Dance Magazine Awards 2019 and 2020.
Thibaut Witzleb is also a certified Horton Technique Teacher invited internationally.
