Noa Genazzano is a dancer, teacher, and choreographer based in Barcelona and London. She is also the director and founder of Universe in Motion, created to invite personal and global shifts in awareness through movement, meditation, and performance art. Born in Barcelona, Spain, Noa was raised in New York City, where she graduated as a Level I Scholarship Recipient from The Ailey School. During her time there, she performed in Alvin Ailey's Revelations for the Ailey Spirit Gala at the David H. Koch Theater and in Alvin Ailey's Memoria with the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in their 2016 City Center Season. After moving to Europe, she trained intensively in Ohad Naharin's Gaga Technique and also with members of Hofesh Shechter Company. She has performed new creations by Maxine Doyle (Punchdrunk) and Humanhood and has premiered her own original creations, U Are The Universe and Eutierria, in both New York and London.

Noa has studied the Horton technique intensively for over 10 years with world-renowned teachers such as Milton Myers, Adrienne Hurd, Elizabeth Roxas, and Ana Marie Forsythe, who co-authored the official book of the Horton Technique. She is a guest lecturer at renowned educational institutions such as London Studio Centre, Institute of the Arts Barcelona, Danceworks London, Institute of Contemporary Theatre, and the University of Winchester.

We are delighted to welcome Noa to the MIU family and share her gift for the Horton Technique with our community.
