Fana is an Artist, Teacher, Actor, and Dancer from Madison, WI. She is a member of the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. Fana graduated from Interlochen Arts Academy and the Ailey/Fordham BFA Program with a BFA in Dance and a minor in Journalism. Over the past ten years, her transformative performances and commitment to her craft have inspired numerous aspiring dancers.

She has developed a powerful presence through the Horton Technique and other contemporary dance styles, making every performance unique. Fana's professional journey has also seen her grace the stages with Evidence Dance Company, Earl Mosley's Diversity of Dance, and The Black Iris Project. She collaborated with world-renowned choreographers and artists such as Ronald K. Brown, Bill T. Jones, Rennie Harris, Matthew Rushing, and Hope Boykin. Fana has performed the finest pieces of the Ailey repertoire, Revelations (1960), Blues Suite (1958), and many other classics by Alvin Ailey. 

She honed her craft as an actor at The Freeman Studio, The Kimball Studio, and Lesly Kahn Acting Studio. She appeared in many films, including the Emmy Award-winning WILD.
