Dani Stasi is a teacher, choreographer, pedagogical coordinator, and therapist based in Brazil. She has a degree in Dance from UFBA (Brazil) and a BA in Dance Therapy from NYU. She is certified by the Martha Graham Dance School (NYC) and the Pilates Studio (Brazil). She is a former member of Martha Graham's company and was part of the last group of dancers to work with Martha Graham herself.

As a company member, she performed in every group piece of the Repertory, such as Acts of Light (1981), Appalachian Spring (1944), Night Journey (1947), Rite of Spring (1984), Steps in the Street (1936), Clytemnestra (1958), Maple Leaf Rag (1990), Temptations of the Moon (1986), Primitive Mysteries (1931), Diversion of Angels (1948), Night Chant (1988), among others. Before that, Dani danced with the Martha Graham Ensemble (directed by Yuriko) for three years, performing the roles of the girl in red in Diversion of Angels and Mary in El Penitente (1940).

She has been back in her home country since 2000. She pursued her professional career as a dancer and performed in many dance companies, such as The São Paulo City Ballet, under the direction of Klauss Vianna and Julia Ziviani. She was also a rehearsal director/resident teacher with the São Paulo Dance Company. Since returning to Brazil, she has taught, choreographed, coordinated, and practised therapy.

For more than two decades, Dani Stasi has brought a new approach to contemporary dance to São Paulo and its community, sharing her invaluable knowledge with hundreds of dancers and creating valuable opportunities to learn the Graham Technique and the repertoire in communities that couldn't have access to it.

With social media, her distinctive style and impact on the contemporary scene in Brazil have transcended her native country, inspiring many Graham practitioners in Europe and worldwide. Dani's unique pedagogical skills and talent make her Masterclass extraordinary and filled with an exceptional sense of musicality and rhythm. Stasi's remarkable career and contributions as a Graham educator established her as a pioneering and essential Graham Technique instructor in Brazil and South America.

"Working with Martha taught me that success is the continuous realization of a worthwhile dream or idea, for which I shall be forever grateful!"
