"Today, I’ve officially become a MIU Certified Horton technique teacher.

This training had nothing to do with the Graham one I took two years ago. I hesitated for a year before applying because I knew it would be physically and mentally strenuous, and I had minimal experience in this technique. At the beginning of the training, I hit rock bottom in my personal life. As the training became harder, I wondered almost every week why I had enrolled. But I also felt changes. My body changed, my whole dance technique improved, my skills as a teacher, my creativity, my confidence, and so much more.

I don’t want to minimise my own efforts, but I could not have made it to the end without your support, Patrice Moniz. You had to deal with my neurodiversity and its associated shortcomings. You encouraged me when I needed it, were firm when you had to be, and pushed me where I thought I could not go. As you said, I learnt a lot about Horton and also about myself.
